Hey Violet!!
Yep, welcome welcome, you have chosen a fine time indeed to come to Finland; The summer is at high blossom also here in the North, and the soft water in the thousand lakes of Finland is very pleasant to swim in at the moment . . . especially in the deep woods of Lapland under the midnight sun.
The people here are very friendly, but also shy. I really think you'll be quite safe here.
If you happen to come by Turku, please let me know if you want to meet, I live downtown and can surely show you something fun here.
