Cleanliness
Shri Mahaprabhuji wants to impress on us all that cleanliness is a very high thing. Cleanliness is next to godliness. Shri Mahaprabhuji says that God only resides in cleanliness. If there is impurity inside you, how can God reside in your heart? So practicing cleanliness is one of the most important acts in your life to realize God. Those who live in Haidakhan - and the fakirs of Haidakhan, especially - must be very clean. They must have a daily bath, clean their clothes, and everywhere they must observe neatness and tidiness. Things must be kept in order. Cleanliness is the first step in reaching God.
