Following the Heart Makes Others Uncomfortable . . .

Dear Babaji,

I have sometimes had occasion to truly follow my heart and do something I have always wanted to do. When I am fairly GLOWING with the energy that brings, sometimes those closest to me tend to put me down or try to criticize what I have done (especially my parents) - almost like they don't like to see me so happy.

Is that my own problem within me or should I ignore it and look at it as their problem? Or is it a problem at all?

Why are people often threatened by others feeling full of joy?

Thank you. Maybe this is trivial, but it bothers me.

Sincerely,
Sylvia
